Cuban coffee is a staple here in the 305. As part of Family Weekend 2022, students and families are invited to join the ’Canes Central, Camner Center, and Counseling Center teams at the Harold Long Jr. and H.T. Smith Student Services Building patio for cafecito and refreshments at 3:05 p.m. this Friday, October 7th. Enjoy some Miami culture and learn more about the various resources available at the Student Services Building. We look forward to seeing you on Friday!

Will you be enrolled next academic year? Do you want to be considered for financial aid? If so, submit your 2023-2024 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by the February 1, 2023 priority deadline to be considered for the maximum amount of the available funds as some funds are limited (e.g., SEOG for undergraduate students). While submitting your FAFSA by the priority deadline does not guarantee you will receive such limited funds, it will ensure your aid application is considered when these funds are allocated. Even though financial aid awards for next academic year will not be officially sent until Summer, submitting your FAFSA by the priority deadline will also enable you to act right away if you are asked to submit additional forms, tax documents, etc. to confirm your financial aid eligibility. The longer you wait to submit your FAFSA, the longer it will take to request documents, the longer it will take to develop your award package. Once you submit your FAFSA, keep an eye on your UM email in case you are asked to submit additional documentation. The 2023-2024 FAFSA will draw from your 2021 taxes, which means you should be able to submit right away. Don’t delay … submit today! Note: Click here to learn more and ensure you submit the proper FAFSA by the priority deadline.
