Our Recommendation:

Register Fully and Use Swap

Why, you ask?

We know you may not be able to register for all your desired classes when your time for registration comes—some classes may be full at that time—but you should register for a full academic load/schedule from the beginning as your enrollment can impact your future bill and your future financial aid.  By leveraging Swap, you can (a) register now for a full schedule that will allow you to make successful progress toward your degree, (b) ensure your future bill and aid will be accurate when bills are released, and (c) maximize your chances of snagging a seat in the classes you prefer.  This is a great move as Swaps will run each morning as seats come available up until the Last Day to Add.  Learn how to properly leverage Swap here.

LAW/Miami Herbert Business Online: Do you have questions about your registration timeline?

You should receive additional information from your college/school, but feel free to consult with them directly to learn more about your registration process for the Summer 2023 and Fall 2023 terms.

Financial Independence Track (FIT)

Applications for 2023-2024

The inaugural FIT class, Class Alpha, was a tremendous success!  Twenty students participated in Class Alpha where they gained a better sense of what it takes to be financially independent in college, in job one, and in the future.  When asked about this 6-week program, students said “every session was insightful and beneficial,” and their overall understanding of this topic improved from 51% to 92% by program completion.

Would you like to join the FIT Program?  Applications for Fall 2023 will launch on 4/17.  Click here to learn more and keep an eye out for our next newsletter.

Around the Corner Campaign

View all Communications

A wise person once said you should live in the moment, but to live in the moment you must be down the street and around the corner.  Our aim is for students to focus on their academic endeavors, which can be accomplished by anticipating important events and proactively completing administrative responsibilities.  The Around the Corner campaign was created to aid students in this pursuit.
