Two important deadlines are coming quickly: (1) 2022-2023 FAFSA Submission Priority Deadline and (2) Last Day to Add.  The priority deadline for continuing students to submit the 2022-2023 FAFSA for next academic year is Tuesday, February 1st.  The Last Day to Add is tomorrow, Wednesday, January 26th.  These deadlines do carry impacts for students so review this information and take action now.

The Spring 2022 bill is due on Monday, January 10^th.

Use the resources below to understand your bill and finalize your payment arrangements today.

Start the Spring 2022 semester right by planning ahead for all things related to registration and records, billing and payment, financial aid, and 'Cane Card.  Prepare now so you can focus on your academics from Day 1.

The student CaneLink experience has a new look.  The information available to students is the same, but the way in which students navigate to access it may feel different.  Take some time to review the new Dashboard, understand how to use the new Schedule Builder, and learn how to search for classes, add, drop, waitlist, swap, etc.

Holds can be placed onto students’ accounts for various reasons.  Some serve simply as identifiers that show students belong to specific groups and do not impact students in any way (e.g., remoter learners), while others prompt action and may prevent students from registering, ordering transcripts, and receiving diplomas (e.g., academic advising).

The ’Canes Central team looks forward to welcoming you back to campus!  Before you know it, charges will be applied to your student account, your financial aid will disburse, you will dust off your ’Cane Card, and the add/drop period will commence.  The Fall semester is always a busy time so the ’Canes Central team created this Fall 2021 Preparation Guide to help answer some of your billing and payment, financial aid, registration and records, and ’Cane Card needs.  Review the information in this guide and Beat the Rush!

The priority deadline for continuing students to submit the FAFSA for the 2021-2022 academic year was February 1, 2021.  If you missed this date, don’t fret!  You can still submit your FAFSA and you will still be considered for financial aid.  Click here to learn more about FAFSA, SAP, and Money Talks.

To better support our students, we are launching the new Director’s Corner where our Director, Betsy Lopez, and other ’Canes Central team members will develop and launch brief videos to highlight tips and tricks that will help you navigate your experience at the U.  These regular videos will provide you with timely insight to address hot topic issues throughout the academic year.

As the 1^st day of classes and the bill due date quickly approach, we wanted to remind you to check your schedule so you can make sure you are fully-enrolled and ready to start the semester off right.  Your enrollment is the foundation of your student account as it can impact how you are billed and how your financial aid is applied.
