FAFSA Priority Deadline

3/23/21

The priority deadline for continuing students to submit the FAFSA for the 2021-2022 academic year was February 1, 2021.  If you missed this date, don’t fret!  You can still submit your FAFSA and you will still be considered for financial aid.  Click here to learn more about FAFSA, SAP, and Money Talks.

Clear Your Holds for Registration

3/16/21
Students may see holds placed on their accounts for various reasons: some impact registration and others do not.  We highly recommend students take action now on any holds they currently see on their accounts, and that students regularly monitor their student records—at least weekly—until registration to ensure they can take the appropriate steps quickly as to avoid any complications during the registration process.  Click here to learn more.

Introducing the Director's Corner

1/15/21

To better support our students, we are launching the new Director’s Corner where our Director, Betsy Lopez, and other ’Canes Central team members will develop and launch brief videos to highlight tips and tricks that will help you navigate your experience at the U.  These regular videos will provide you with timely insight to address hot topic issues throughout the academic year.

Credit Hours Impact Billing

1/13/21

As the 1st day of classes and the bill due date quickly approach, we wanted to remind you to check your schedule so you can make sure you are fully-enrolled and ready to start the semester off right.  Your enrollment is the foundation of your student account as it can impact how you are billed and how your financial aid is applied.

Bill Pay Preparation

12/14/20
The process to generate the initial bill takes time as information must be loaded from multiple sources.  Tuition must calculate for each student, anticipated financial aid must be loaded, housing and dining fees must be applied, etc.  Review the information below to learn more about your soon-to-be Spring 2021 bill.

Holds & Resolutions

12/01/20
Holds can be placed onto students’ accounts for various reasons.  Some serve simply as identifiers that show students belong to specific groups and do not impact students in any way (e.g., remoter learners), while others prompt action and may prevent students from registering, ordering transcripts, and receiving diplomas (e.g., academic advising).  Learn how to view and remove common holds here.

Registration Preparation

11/18/20
Registration is quickly approaching.  Click here to learn more about registration appointment times, class postings, shopping carts, drop/add deadlines, variable credit courses, and more!
